What I Built

A football commentary platform that covered the game day-to-day across European leagues, boosted by World Cup 2022 coverage. I produced content that provided news, opinion, and in-depth discussion - building an audience, collaborating with creators worldwide, and creating community amongst football fandom.

Posted daily during peak periods (2022-2024), creating 1,120 posts over three years - averaging one post per day for 36 months straight. Content evolved through three phases:

Phase 1 (2021-2022): Photos with long-form captions establishing voice and writing capability

Phase 2 (2022-2023): Graphics and short-form video using Photoshop, Lightroom, and Final Cut Pro - video became the hook driving people to read deeper analysis

Phase 3 (2023-2024): Expanded to Medium for long-form writing Instagram couldn't accommodate, creating content ecosystem where visuals drove traffic to full articles
